Sacred Birth Preparation Suitable from 28 weeks up until birth A two hour yoga and meditation class for you as you journey through your third trimester and begin to prepare for the birth of your baby. Delve deep into the ancient practice of Yoga, Meditation and Breathwork to physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually prepare you for the powerful and sacred process of Birth. The classes include prenatal yoga, meditation and breathing techniques and will explore mantras, chakras, affirmations, optimal foetal positioning, vocalising in labour, pelvic floor awareness, how the birthing body works and effects of stress, positions to assist baby in their rotation and journey through the pelvis, first stage Active Birth positions, second stage birthing positions - and a chance to connect with other women approaching their birthing.
You will learn how to use a birth ball to open the pelvis and use gravity to help baby's descent. You will also learn rebozo techniques to keep you comfortable during labour. Studies show that being active in birth leads to a faster, less painful and safer experience for both mother and baby.
