Introduce your pre-schooler to art in our early learning program Arty Tales. Storyteller artist Emily Paterson leads children through the Gallery with awe and wonder to view the exhibitions on display. The art inspires stories, songs and an age-appropriate (caregiver assisted) activity. Children and their carers gain confidence to enjoy looking at art together in a gallery setting. Dress for mess. Bookings are essential as class size is limited Recommended for children aged 2 to 5 years Tickets are for children only, accompanying adult is free and may be required to support their child. Carers are asked not to bring other children. Light refreshments are served during the program in Boadle Hall. Carers accompanying children are asked to assist the Gallery to safeguard artworks.

Please ensure your child does not touch artworks (unless invited to do so by the program presenter). Arty Tales runs 10am to 11.30am on the following Thursdays: 11 July 22 August 12 September 24 October 21 November Please read our Public Programs - Terms and Conditions before buying your ticket. FAQs What should my child wear to Arty Tales? Please dress your child in clothes that allow for complete freedom of movement and keeping in mind that during the creative-making part of the session may use mediums like paint that may potentially leave marks. During warm weather there may be some splashy water creativity.  Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? This program has been designed for pre-schoolers (from 2 to 5 years of age) accompanied by their care giver.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? On site bike racks and car parking is provided. For public transport options see the PTV Journey planner.   What can I bring into the event? You will need to bring any personal items your child (or you) may require during this program.   How can I contact the organiser with any questions? Contact the Incinerator Gallery via email [email protected] or phone 03 8325 1750.   Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? There is no need to bring your ticket. We will have a list of people who have purchased tickets.   Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends? It will be helpful for our planning if we know a little bit about the children attending.

However, registrations can be updated to reflect a new ticket holder. In the case of their being any cancellations or changes to the program we will only contact the registered email address.
