Departing Friday afternoon from the Hall. Volunteers will be needed to take participants up to Coochin Creek (near Beerwah). Basic clothes will be needed. Underwear, socks for hiking (probably thick like explorers), two shirts, pants for day (I'll be in shorts as usual, but long pants for hiking if you need them - not jeans. ) Wet weather gear. Swimming Togs, Towel, Water Shoes (no bikinis for girls, please). Two large garbage bags to keep things dry (or to separate wet things as necessary). Uniform for travel in and out, or non-uniform shirt if you don't have uniform shirt yet, plus plastic bag or similar to store uniform after use. We only travel in and out and do parade in uniform; after that it gets safely packed away. Limited showers at Coochin Creek so perhaps some baby wipes - we will talk about hygiene on Thursday.

Day pack, including hat, sunscreen, inspect repellent, water bottle, container for snacks. Torch, sleeping bag (suitable to temperature), sleeping pad (single only, no doubles or queen size). Pillow. Eating pack - plate, bowl, cup, cutlery. Everything is drained in Milton before and after use. No electrical entertainment gear, no lollies, no private snacks (dietary exceptions noted - but must be handed to kitchen quartermaster on site). Medications. Toothbrush and paste, hand soap, hand towel - we will have disinfectant hand wash on site. Troop will put up kitchen fly and patrol storage tent, and then Patrols will put up shared hiking tents. Each patrol will have an allocated campsite, and will be responsible for all Patrol meals on camp. This is a Bushcraft, Scoutcraft and basic camping skills camp, so we will be having a lot of fun exploring our Scouting skills.

Depart as soon after school as possible to maximise light for putting up camp, but leaving no later than 17:00 (5pm). Dropoffs straight after school are fine.
