With special guest, Microsoft Education Consultant Troy Waller, Edufolios are excited to announce a one day training event on Onenote and Teams. The new classroom experiences in Microsoft OneNote and Teams for Education help teachers manage their daily workflow more easily than ever before. With OneNote, educators can create digital notebooks and Class Notebooks that support academic standards and education outcomes across disciplines and tasks, such as writing, reading, mathematics, science, history, and elective courses. Using Teams, they can quickly and efficiently create classes with automatically populated student rosters from their school information system; share files and teaching materials; make announcements; divide the class into project groups and monitor progress.
And because Teams is a digital hub, students can work together anytime, anywhere, and on any device. Through this training, participants will: • Understand how to create a Microsoft Team in Office 365. • Learn to navigate and use OneNote, set up, organise and arrange notebooks for student and teacher use as a productivity tool. • Experience how teachers and students can use OneNote and Teams for Education as collaborative tools. • Creatively apply learning to how these tools will benefit students and teachers for specific classroom tasks, including interactive lessons. • Visualise how OneNote and Microsoft Teams can work for them. Throughout the day participants will engage in immersive learning activities that will build a strong understanding of how OneNote and Teams improve instruction and meet the learning needs of students.
