EPIC kids holiday snack workshop Ever wondered what a Naturopath feeds their children? (Actually my kids feed themselves AND prepare the majority of their meals and snacks at 9 and 6 years old.) Join me to discover my secrets to healthy snacks that your kids will be begging to make at home. What does the workshop include- 2 hour food creation workshop Snacks throughout the morning Recipe e-book Bonus pdf reference Special gift for each child In this 2 hour workshop we dissect the ingredients and educate your kids in an interactive way on whole foods and why we make these choices over others. We play with our food. Children, like adults, learn best when they participate. Your child will feel confident and inspired to recreate these EPIC healthy snacks at home.

Shhhh, your child will be learning along the way too and so will you. The design of the workshop is for your child to understand WHY we are making healthy choices, from improving behaviour and the way their body feels, through to memory and concentration support. I also love empowering these children to make these choices themselves, so that you do not feel as though you are forever battling with them. Your role here is to learn together with them and remind them when they get home. We taste along the way. All foods created will be tasted as we go and a few more at the end. What to bring- Each child needs an accompanying adult. This is important to continue the message into everyday life. The purpose of these workshops is to empower the kids to make healthy choices, their parent or carer can then continue to build on this at home.

This is what creates lasting change and supports your children in continuing to practise every day healthy choices, rather than visiting "some lady who talks about fruit and stuff." What to wear- Since we are working with food it is advisable to keep clothing simple. Girls this means not wearing anything that will fall into your creations like long necklaces, tassles or bracelets. Hair will need to be tied back and ideally closed toed shoes to be worn. Who should attend? Ideally the ages of 8-12 will engage well and get the most out of the workshop. Each childs ticket has a free adult ticket attached as part of this program. NUT ALLERGIES Please note that some of the recipes contain nuts, therefore if you or your child has a nut allergy, this workshop is not ideal for you.

If you would like a nut free version created, please email me and I will endevour to create one for you. PLEASE NOTE Each child must have a supervising adult. If you choose to bring more than one child with you, please contact us before you purchase your ticket. Nicole is there to teach and inspire your child as well as interact and have fun with them, it is the attending adults responsibility to supervise their childs behaviour. ALSO if your child has any food intolerances, please notify me before purchasing your ticket.
