On March 19th, 2014, Slowlife was born from a group of friends who simply wanted to get together and meet other car lovers in a friendly, laid-back environment to admire and talk about what they love most. Four years on, we want to do exactly that. Slowlife has seen many changes over the years, but there's one thing that we'll never take away - the classic Slowlife meet. To celebrate four years of Slowlife, we're bringing you a meet at Brickworks Marketplace so that we can get together, admire Adelaide's thriving car scene, and cruise as one in a display of our passion for the four (and two) wheeled machines we treasure most. LOCATION: Brickworks Marketplace DATE: Saturday, March 17th 2018 START TIME: 6:00pm CRUISE DEPARTURE: 8:30PM (Cruise Route will be posted leading up to the event date) FULL INFORMATION BELOW: THE MEET POINT: Please be respectful of the meet point with noise (there ARE local residents nearby) and please dispose of your rubbish appropriately - bins will be provided.
We expect you to be on your best behaviour - NO disruptive behaviour will be tolerated. If you see SAPOL around, they're there to help coordinate traffic on exit and enjoy the meet with us. We cooperate closely with SAPOL to bring you safe, well-executed events and we encourage the local law enforcement to be in attendance. THE CRUISE: As standard protocol; remember that our reputation as a positive car community is on the line with any meet and cruise and this extends to your behaviour; don't be a hero or breach the rules of the road. SAPOL are advised of the cruise route well before the event and we cooperate with them to bring you a safe cruise. For the sake of efficiency; we will be posting the cruise route via a google maps link on the event page for you to input on your maps app on your device.
This will be posted on the Saturday evening.
