Mums & Bubs 4 wk term A gentle class to come to when you feel your strength returning 6-8 weeks after having your baby. The first six weeks of your newborn's life should be spent restoring and recovering, with focus on gentle pelvic floor toning. These nurturing classes include gentle yoga and breath work. Yoga breathing techniques can help a new mother find focus and energy amidst all the emotions that come with motherhood. Gentle yoga postures help re-awaken the post natal body and ease tension throughout the body. Classes will focus on strengthening the pelvic floor and abdominal wall as well as the upper and lower body. ‚ÄčThese classes also give you the chance to connect with other mums, have space to reflect on your journey, your changing body, breastfeeding challenges and to share whatever else may surface in a safe and friendly environment.

There will be plenty of chance to stop and play with your baby, or feed/change when required. Suitable for women 6-8 weeks post birth, please check with your care provider first. JOYMAMMA Mums & Bubs Yoga is a safe and nurturing place to connect and share with others.
