Program Objective: PEPA aims to improve health professionals’ knowledge, skills and confidence in the palliative approach to care for people with a life-limiting illness. The workshops are interactive and provide ample time for discussion through case presentations and examples (some aspects of the program may change due to circumstances beyond our control). Intended workshop audience: ALL metropolitan Health Professional (Doctors, Nurses - Registered, Endorsed Enrolled and Enrolled, Allied Health) working in health across alll settings with limited/moderate paediatric palliative care experience. Areas covered include: Paediatric Palliative Care; Child, Family, Sibling Support; Bear Cottage; Bereavement Support; End of Life Care; Early Referral; Self-care; Holistic Assessment; Prognostication; Communication, Resuscitation Plan; Ambulance Plan; Tele-health; Pop Up Model; Cultural Diversity; overview of PEPA and placement opportunities.

 Further information: An email confirming registration to attend will be sent from PEPA to participants. Please note that places are limited and registration is essential. TICKET issued in 'good faith' that you meet the necessary criteria/target group for this session. Those not meeting the criteria/target group will be contacted by PEPA NSW to cancel their ticket.
