This Event Is Targeted at GPs and Practice Nurses TADPole: Treating Alcohol and other Drugs in Primary Care Edith Cowan University: SIRCH and WA Primary Health Alliance invite you to attend a RACGP Cat.1 TADPole (Treating Alcohol and Drugs in Primary Care) Event. An Active Learning Module (RACGP Category 1 QI & CPD activity) has been developed consisting of three separate education activities each of two hours long. General practitioners and other health care providers are welcome. Activity 1: Challenging attitudes and common issues encountered in general practice Activity 2: Enhanced understanding of specific drugs and comorbid conditions with a special focus on pain. Activity 3: Motivational interviewing and brief intervention Speakers Professor Moira Sim, GP and Addiction Medicine Specialist Dr Eric Khong, GP Dr Roger Goucke, Pain Specialist Dr Rene`  Vytialingam, Addiction Medicine Specialist Professor Gary Hulse, Psychologist QI&CPD Activity 103459: Allocated 40 Category 1 (Active Learning Module) points in the QI&CPD Program for the 2017-19 triennium.
