This workshop, the third of a three part series, is all about repairing a tyre after a puncture.  It will equip you with the skills you need to feel comfortable when riding on your own, in the knowledge that you can identify the cause of the puncture and fix it accordingly. *If you didn’t get a spot in Workshop 1 or 2 – The Basics and Cleaning & Degresing, that’s ok, you’re still very welcome to attend this session. What’s covered: Oh the pressure - the golden number to avoid punctures, what's yours? Size does matter - tyre widths, tube sizes, valve types, and tubeless v tubes. Be prepared - what to carry so you're self sufficient for puncture repair. But why - how to identify the cause of a puncture. When the wheels come off - how to remove and replace yours.

Fix it - how to fix the issue so you can get back to pedalling.  Wait there's more - what to check after a repair before pedalling off. What you’ll need to bring: Yourself Your bike A floor pump if you have one please Any puncture repair equipment you have A water bottle *Please also bring any puncture repair gear you already have at home so we can ensure yit's suitable for your bike set up and show you how to use it. This workshop is FREE and will be delivered by Emma who is an avid local cyclist, Trek Women’s Advocate, and certified Cycling Australia Skills Instructor. Places are limited to ensure attendees get the most out of the workshop but demand is high so if your circumstances change to mean you can no longer attend after registering please be sure to let us know.
